Tim Sherman

Timothy M. Sherman, an employee of Veterans Affairs hospitals for the past 15 years, died Wednesday of complications from surgery in Houston. He Was 37. Mr. Sherman was born in Fairfield, Calif., and lived in Hewitt, Texas, for the past five years. He graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks, N.D., and the University of North Dakota. Survivors include his wife, Mary Foster Sherman; a son, Timothy Sherman Jr.; a daughter, Lucy Sherman; his mother, Merle Sherman of New Orleans; three brothers, John R. Sherman of Biloxi, Miss., Anthony Sherman of Springfield, Va., and Christopher Sherman of Round Rock, Texas; and a sister, Kathleen Fordemwalt of Ocean Springs, Miss. A mass will be
said Saturday at 10 A.M. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Hewitt. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park. Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.

Greig Watson

Tim was one of the captains of our football team when we were seniors in 1978.He was quiet leader and led by example.It was great to play on the same team with him in 1977 and 1978 he was a great example to the rest of us on the team because he was also more grounded and more mature than most of the rest of us on the team.

Even though he left us in 1999 he will still be missed.
